An auspicious day for Kollywood
WEDNESDAY saw the maximum number of film poojas taking place in the city. Shakthi's Un Vasamanaen, Snehan's Uyarthiru 42 - written and directed by Ramnath S, Muthuku Muthaga, which stars Monica in the lead and Kadhal Kalvettu with new faces - the shooting for all these films commenced on Wednesday. Kadhal Kalvettu also happens to be yesteryear actress Jayasudha's comeback film. The auspicious day also saw celebrations by the cast and crew of movies like Naran, a thriller movie with two heroes and two heroines in the lead, Sevanu directed by Jeevan and Yuvan Yuvathi starring Bharath. It was a lucky day for actress Monica as two of her films - Rasu Mathuravan's Muthuku Muthaga and Naran went on floors. With just a few days left for the `Aadi' month, the film industry is busy starting shoots.
